Join us on April 8, at 11 am GMT, for our first BRACED online discussion forum! Learn how BRACED discussion fora will offer a space for you to connect with BRACED partners to share ideas, pose questions, highlight interesting experiences, offer lesson learned and more. This first Discussion will be an opportunity to test out the virtual platform, ask questions on how it works, and propose topics for upcoming discussions. The BRACED Knowledge Manager plans to host discussion fora on a weekly basis, on topics of interest to Implementing Partners, especially around the learning themes. More information on weekly discussions to follow.

As mentioned we will soon share a plan for upcoming discussions forums structured around key themes. In the meantime, if you have suggestions for discussions to have that would be useful to you, please propose now - its a great opportunity to get quick feedback from a diverse group!

A practical question for Implementing Partners while we've got a few people here. We currently send email updates to your main project contact for distribution (adding others where asked). Would you like to receive all invites through these? Or for us to keep mailing lists for each thematic community of practice? Or otherwise..

From the Learning perspective, we see this tool as having great potential to share plans, early experiences and any lessons learned so far.

One thing I like about this platform is that it's very stable in places with low bandwidth - one of the things we've heard loud and clear from various members of the BRACED family. You do have to type, which can take time, but it also creates a useful record of our interactions. Very unlike Skype which can be fast but often falls out, leaving people missing things.....
